O corpo do cantor Gabriel Diniz chegou por volta de 5h desta terça-feira (28) ao ginásio de esportes Ronaldão, no bairro do Cristo Redentor, em João Pessoa, para ser velado. Conhecido pelo hit “Jenifer”, Gabriel morreu na queda de um avião de pequeno porte junto com outras duas pessoas na tarde desta segunda.

Gabriel Diniz tinha acabado de gravar comercial do São João de Caruaru
O velório foi, inicialmente, fechado para familiares e amigos. O cantor Matheus, da dupla Matheus e Kauan, a youtuber e humorista Gkay e Renan da Resenha, também humorista, estavam entre os presentes. A cerimônia foi aberta ao público, que fazia fila desde a madrugada, às 8h. O sepultamento deverá ser realizado nesta tarde.
Durante toda a madrugada, fãs começaram a ocupar a entrada do ginásio Ronaldão para acompanhar o velório. A primeira parte da cerimônia, das 5h às 8h, ficou restrita à pedido da família. Após entrar no ginásio, fãs passavam por uma espécie de corredor para se aproximar do caixão de Gabriel.
Uma missa, também aberta ao público, será celebrada pelo Padre Luiz Carlos por volta de 15h. Uma hora depois, às 16h, o corpo do cantor seguirá em cortejo em carro aberto do Corpo de Bombeiros para o Cemitério Parque das Acácias, no bairro José Américo. O sepultamento será restrito a parentes de Gabriel.
